What is Community Hope
‘Community Hope’ is the first NFT in the Maven collection to support a charity. The first $10,000 raised from the NFT will go towards the 4MyCiTy non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD, USA.
About 4MyCiTy
4MyCiTy was launched in October of 2018, we received our nonprofit status on August 30th 2019. Since then, we have rescued and distributed over 180 Million Pounds of food to families facing hunger. That is approximately 150 Million meals served utilizing just surplus food through our rescue operations. Zero dollars was spent on food purchases in these totals.
At 4MyCiTy®, Our focus is on the Importance of Environmental Sustainability, primarily the Sustainable Management of Food in relation to food waste. Our Project was developed to operate around four primary phases that when executed successfully creates a ZERO waste to ZERO hunger initiative. Effectively our program is fighting towards ending hunger, while also advancing strategies focused on protecting our planet against the negative effects caused by organic waste.
Community Hope Design
The design for the ‘Community Hope’ NFT got inspiration from the classic charity symbol of the two hands holding a heart, that usually has a dove inside the heart. We wanted to take the classic symbol and bring it to life in our own way.
